Onsite Courses and Course Customisation
Onsite Education
You may wish to have MicroStrategy come onsite and deliver a private, tailored course to meet the educational needs of your development and project teams. All of the instructor-led offerings can be delivered onsite as long as your facility meets the technical specifications required to host the class. Prices for onsite training are based on the number of students trained. There are three price rates MicroStrategy offers:
- £3,840/day for up to 8 students or 8 LUs/day
- £4,320/day for up to 12 students or 9 LUs/day
- £4,800/day for up to 15 students or 10 LUs/day
These above rates are list price. To receive a discount on these rates, it is recommended that you purchase an education package, which contains a quantity of learning units at a discounted price. You can save 10-25% by purchasing a package and redeeming your learning units towards onsite training.
The customer is also responsible for instructor Travel and Expenses in association with onsite training.

Course Customisation
MicroStrategy Education Services strives to provide whatever training is necessary to ensure our customers' and partners' success. For instance, we provide developers with the skills they need to accomplish their tasks. While our standard instructor-led course offerings meet those needs in the majority of cases, topics often must be rearranged to ensure that the whole development team is proficient in the tool. Creating a custom course that includes personally relevant topics is a great way to increase students' understanding and retention of the material. Customised courses are also very common when training the end user community. We have found that end users benefit greatly from customised courseware that contains a significant amount of business context.
By choosing MicroStrategy and leveraging our existing courseware templates as the foundation to your custom curriculum, you will be able to deploy a quality training solution in a fraction of the time it would take if you had to create the training materials from scratch. The modular format of our course offerings makes it easy to draw content from multiple courses and incorporate the customer's data and reports into the instructor-led material. The instructional design styles and standards of our staff have resulted in the creation of dynamic and interactive courses, which have proven effective for more than 10,000 people. MicroStrategy strongly recommends that these same course templates be used as the foundation for any customised training course.

How does MicroStrategy provide customised training?
There are several degrees of customisation, from rearranging agendas, to customising the exercises, to complete course customisation (exercises, screen shots, business examples and text). For complete customisation, MicroStrategy also offers a Train-the-Trainer program to certify your staff to deliver the course for ongoing user training. This is a very cost-effective approach to training the masses. Course customisation is most common among the end user community, since they often need to see data and reports relevant to them to learn the functionality of the MicroStrategy Web product. For web end user training, MicroStrategy offers the Web Essentials Kit as an easy-to-deploy end user training solution.
