Caring Daycare, Noah’s Ark and Major Minors all recognise the importance of a systematic approach to achieving quality outcomes for the children. We have created a well established framework for the individual team members to work within, so that they have guidance but also the freedom for innovation and to facilitate the children developing their own learning.
It is always a strong endorsement for your approach when you submit it to external validation through national quality assurance programmes. We have chosen to participate in the Quality Counts Programme developed by the National Day Nurseries Association. We are pleased that 5 of our nurseries have achieved this recognition. The other 2 nurseries are waiting to participate in the Surrey Early Years Quality Assurance Programme which reflects us wishing to support a local programme as well.
Investor in People is a quality standard we have always felt committed to because our approach to care rests on our ability to motivate and harness the natural enthusiasm of individual carers. To do this we need to ensure we have the best people management processes in place and working. In this way we achieve longer length of service, better continuity for the children and ultimately give them the best start.
We don’t always get it right, but we work hard at doing the best for the children and throughout the organisation we approach everything with the highest integrity.
